Sunshine Coast Conservation Association
The Sunshine Coast Conservation Association (SCCA) is a regional conservation organization working to protect biodiversity and build climate resilience across a 2+ million-hectare region. We develop and lead transformative conservation campaigns to protect watersheds, ecosystems, and species through research, education, alliance-building, and advocacy in the territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, shíshálh, Tla'amin, Klahoose, and Homalco First Nations. SCCA runs and contributes to community science and biomonitoring initiatives as part of a broader effort to translate science into action, advancing watershed-scale conservation through policy, planning, and advocacy.
